Hello!

My name is Daniela, but you can call me Dani :)

I'm from Minas Gerais, born on 11/11, daughter of a Carioca and a Portuguese man. I currently live in Porto with my husband and my two kittens, Sushi and Nawi. I have a degree in Information Systems and work as a Software Engineer.

I started making handicrafts when I was 8 years old, with crochet. My mother always did a lot and I, as I was always very close to her, became interested in doing it too. Since then, I've tried everything that appeared in front of me: macrame, candles, soap, painting on wood, painting on glass, painting on silk, painting on fabric, free embroidery, cross stitch, ceramics and last but not least , watercolor. And then it was love at first brushstroke!

Studio Dália is my little corner, where I can experiment, create my art, relax my mind and just worry about how the colors will blend together or whether I'm going to use a thinner or thicker brush. The name, Dália, is in honor of my dear grandmother Ordália, who always liked to create, invent and see people happy.
